Our Priorities

Four Pillars for District 3

Student Achievement

Every student in District 3 deserves access to rigorous, engaging education. We'll push for updated curricula, expanded tutoring, and measurable outcomes that close achievement gaps.

Safe Schools

Learning can only happen when students feel safe. We'll advocate for modern facilities, mental health resources, and transparent safety protocols across every campus.

Community Partnership

Parents, teachers, and neighbors are our greatest asset. We'll create open channels for community input and build partnerships that bring real resources into our schools.

Student & Parent Support

Drawing on 25+ years as a transition teacher and athletic director, Meika knows that students thrive when families are engaged and educators are equipped. She'll champion individualized support, parent resource programs, and teacher retention that keeps our best educators in District 3 classrooms.

"Meika has had a storied career as an educator, teacher, coach, and mentor in the Mobile area for many years. She is an incredible colleague — one that I immeasurably value for the lives she has touched."

— Ann Schilling, Head Girls Volleyball Coach, Bayside Academy
